Alrighty, here's my uniform for the females. They have an option of choosing between a pair of pants or wearing the traditional kilt, with leggings or stockings. Instead of the traditional tie, there is a small neck piece, slightly resembling a bow tie, but cuter. The school crest is set inside on a small piece of gold.
The blazer is optional, but is tailored to fit you. The school crest is on the breast pocket as well. The kilt is a traditional kilt and grey. It should be worn no sorter than three inches from the top of your knee. If the student picks the pair of slacks, it should be the one designed and chosen by the school, and not some other one.
For footwear, there are three pairs of shoes to choose from. As you may note, there are no running shoes because they add an unattractive appearence to the otherwise clean cut appearance of the uniform. One of the choices is a pair of your tradition mary janes with a twist. Instead of the traditional flats, it is a pair of heels.
The second pair of shoes available are black flats trimmed with white, decorated with a large white button on the tip. These are both comfortable and easy to wear, and is for the regular days at school. The third and final pair of footwear availible is a pair of knit uggs to wear with the skirt only. Since they are grey, they match the overall outfit, and are perfect for the cold winter weather.
As you can see, this uniform design is stylish, pleasing to the eye, comfortable, and most important of all, versitile. Everyone can wear it comfortably and still look fashionable while doing so. The color is universally flattering, and the fitted blazer gives the outfit a nice, clean look.

At St. Bernadette's, we pride ourselves in teaching young ladies how to present themselves into the world, both preparing them for college and work. one of out strong beliefs here is that the girls should look respectable at all times.
There are two uniforms. The first consists of a plaid skirt and blazer that is to be worn both fall and winter. The skirt should be no more that three inches above the knee and the blazer should be tailored to fit the girl. We do not wish to see our students in too large or too small clothing, neither of which is suitable for attending school in. The school crest on the blazer is never to be removed during school or otherwise.
The other uniform is to be worn in springtime when temperatures have exceeded seventy degrees Fahrenheit. The skirt is a light seersucker to which the same length rules apply. As it is a lighter material it is easier to get dirty. Any messy apparel will not be tolerated so if you feel that this may be a problem, we suggest you buy an extra Spring skirt or two. The gray sweater is to be worn unless temperatures exceed eighty five degrees Fahrenheit. The school crest may not be removed under any circumstances on the sweater either.
In either winter or spring, the skirt may be replaces with a pair of slacks which can also be purchased through St. Bernadettes. The pants should always be tailored to fit. They may not be too large and drag across the floor and they may not be too short. If you need a good tailor please visit Bernadette's website where we have suggestions for tailors. The pants are never to be rolled up during school hours.
Any blouse with a collar is allowed for the uniform as long as it fits properly and is not vulgar in any way which includes but is not limited to sheer material or exposing of the torso. Either a cross tie or a regular tie must be worn at all times during school hours.
Shoes must be below two inches in height and boots may not go past mid calf. There is no specific shoe but the ones pictured above are acceptable. There may never be any visible labels on the shoes as well as any other part of the uniform including handbags. Our students are not billboards and any brand names or labels showing will not be tolerated.
